Linda Tien is a visual artist from Fort Worth, TX. She received her BFA in Metalsmithing & Jewelry Design in 2011 at Texas Tech University. Upon graduation, Linda was selected as the Exhibitions Artist-in-Residence at the Appalachian Center for Craft in Smithville, TN, where she managed three exhibition galleries for two years. Linda received her MFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design at Indiana University in 2016. She served for one year as Co-Coordinator of The Fuller Projects, a student-run gallery at Indiana University. Her work has been exhibited nationally including venues such as The Greenville Art Museum, The Cole Art Center, The Walsh Gallery, Janice Mason Art Museum, The Appalachian Center for Craft, Vanderbilt University, The Museum of Fine Art Houston and more. Currently, Linda resides in Bloomington, IN where she works as the curator for the Columbus Museum of Art + Design and the coordinator assistant at the Indiana University Center for Art+Design.
